Running the ' Pilot Summer Activity Scheme ' service since 2014 has been a great support for families during July and August. Ultimately it would be ideal to gain government subsidy for this scheme to reduce the cost and make it more accessible to all parents in the area. The Dimotiko of Ayia Napa and municipality of Ayia Napa has provided two classrooms and the facilities at the Junior school free of charge from the start of the program.
Due to the increase of children, we had to find a larger location which became available with the local church of Sotira. They offered us the use of the katexitiko school for our use since 2019.
Where the Summer Club program started off only in August, it has spread to July and August with 1 or 2 weeks in September of every year. It is a great support for working families.
